I created a multi-part email series to introduce The New York Times Audio app, a new product launched in 2023 that brings the best of The Times’ journalism, podcasts, and narrated articles together in one seamless listening experience.
The campaign guided subscribers through the app’s key features—daily curated playlists, exclusive shows, and behind-the-scenes audio storytelling—while reinforcing The Times’ reputation for innovation in digital journalism. Each email was designed to educate, engage, and inspire downloads through bold visuals, clear calls-to-action, and consistent brand voice.
The campaign played a key role in the app’s rapid success, helping it reach 1 million downloads in just seven months after launch and expanding The Times’ presence in the fast-growing audio space.
